Online artist rosters have the capability to showcase the work of outstanding artists from all over the country, allowing arts organizations and schools to connect with them for exhibitions and performances, or simply allowing people to research artists online.

CAMT's artist rosters allow visitors to search for talented artists by name, discipline, state, and more. Or you can learn more about outstanding artists by selecting artists from a simplified alphabetical listing.

Artist registries are perfect for arts councils and other groups that support many different artists or artist groups.

Spotlight Artist Roster:

Southern Artist Federation's Southern Artistry

Southern Artist Federation, a not-for-profit regional arts organization, wanted to spotlight visual and performing artists of merit working throughout the South. The organization partnered with CAMT in 2002 to determine the viability of an online artist roster. After positive focus group sessions with various artist groups, CAMT designed the information architecture behind the roster website. By 2003, it was up and running. Artists had complete control of their profiles, writing their biographies and uploading videos and photographs of their work.
