Currently in the Beta stage...
Introducing artsnetCMS, CAMT's free Content Management System (CMS) service line for non-profit arts organizations. Interested organizations should have non-profit status (501c3) and have their primary business related to the arts.
A CMS gives you the power to update Web content without waiting - or paying - for a Web designer. These open source tools provide easy-to-use text editor interfaces so you can manage your site with little or no Web training.
Click here to edit some Web content. (This is an example of the rich text editor in DotNetNuke, the CMS platform that is part of artsnetCMS.)
But artsnetCMS offers more than simple Web content updating. Among the other features of a CMS are:
- Graphics Templates - Choose from a wide array of graphics templates, or "skins," or customize the templates to match your current site's look and feel.
- Expansive Feature Set - Need a calendar, blog or other Web tool? artsnetCMS offers a huge menu of plug-ins from which to choose.
- User Management - artsnetCMS user roles let you divide up Web management duties by staff member or department.
- Project Management - Host shared files with artsnetCMS and provide limited access so users can share new plays, audio/video files, gallery exhibition plans, etc.
An artsnetCMS partner will receive an account on the DotNetNuke CMS platform, server space (500 MB) and a selection of customizable graphics templates. Arts organizations that want a more advanced online presence also will have the option of purchasing training, customization and additional storage packages. More information about pricing will be available after our post-beta launch.
Click here for information about DotNetNuke.
CAMT is currently working with its initial pool of applicants to create thorough program documentation, which will be shared with future artsnetCMS partners. If you would like to be considered for our next round of open enrollment, please complete the artsnetCMS interest form. We will contact organizations in the order in which the interest forms were received.
